FIDEL CASTRO TRAMPLED, BURNT AND DISHONOURED BY PERVERTED MAOISTS IN WEST BENGAL

Almost every day the Neo Fascists in the garb of Maoists have been murdering CPI (M) leaders, cadres and workers in West Bengal.

Besides, these blind and diehard anti-Communist and anti-Leftist butchers have not only been destroying and torching the houses of CPI (M) leaders, cadres and supporters but also torching CPI (M) Offices, trampling and setting fire to red flags, pictures of Karl Marx, Fredrick Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao Ze Dong, Ho-Chi-Minh, Fidel Castro, Che Guevara, Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, Master Da Surya Sen and other leaders of Communist and Leftist movement of the world and the country as was done by the Fascists and the Gestapoes in Italy and Germany.

The anti-Communist and anti-Leftist “pseudo” intellectuals and “so-called” human right activists in India fully encourage the Maoists with all available resources in all possible manner to carry on their activities in order to serve the imperialists, finance capital and big business houses for gaining wide-spread publicity and promoting their own career and future.

EMINENT INTELLECTUALS RAISE THEIR VOICE AGAINST MAOIST BRUTALITIES ON INNOCENT PEOPLE

ABOUT 40 EMINENT INTELLECTUALS, WRITERS AND ARTISTS ETC. JOINTLY ISSUED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT FROM NEW DELHI

“There has been a spate of growing murder and violence in certain areas of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal by armed persons acting on behalf of the ‘CPI (Maoist)’. We strongly feel that their use of the name of Mao Zedong, a widely respected figure, while carrying out the acts of carnage and killing, is reprehensible. Such acts can also in no way be justified in the name of a war against the state. While every conscious citizen opposes acts of oppression committed by members of the exploiting classes or individuals in the state apparatus, the so-called ‘Maoists’, by their violent acts of vendetta, torture and gruesome killings, are gravely damaging the cause of the popular democratic movement. The ‘Maoists’ are thus in fact working against the interests of the workers and peasants.

In order to isolate the ‘Maoists’ politically, it is however important that the Indian state do all that is necessary to restore its presence and credibility in tribal areas whose interests it has largely been ignoring. The central government should review its neo-liberal policies that have pauperized the tribal people and help the state governments to meeting their developmental challenges in these areas. Counter insurgency vigilante groups (such as Salwa Judum) have proved to be counter productive. Harassment and killing of innocent local people should be avoided while tackling the violence, and those responsible for such acts in the name of fighting the ‘Maoists’ should be punished. A genuine dialogue should be started with those ‘Maoists’ who are ready to give up the path of armed struggle.”

The signatories included Irfan Habib, Teesta Setalvad, Vijay Prashad, Usha Patnaik, Amiya Kumar Bagchi, M.K. Raina, Najaf Haider, Badri Raina, Shireen Moosvi, Jayati Ghosh, Iqtadar Alam Khan, Sohail Hashmi, Archana Prasad, Amar Farooqui, Ayesha Kidwai, Simi Malhotra, Nadim Rizavi, Sonya Surabhi Gupta, Lata Singh, Atlury Murali, Biswamoy Pati, Madhu Prasad, D.N. RAILWAY FUND PLUNDERED BY SO-CALLED CHAMPIONS OF TRIBALS AND FARMERS WITH THE HELP OF MAMATA BANERJEE

The whole country has been going through unprecedented crisis as a result of worldwide financial recession and less production of cereals in the country. The central government has therefore taken a decision for austerity drive in every ministry and organization under its control. Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh, Shri Pranab Kumar Mukherjee and others are actively abiding by this decision. As a part of this decision, they have already started to travel in economic class of air flights and brought down other expenses.

But this is not so with the Indian Railways under Mamata Banerjee. It seems that the Indian Railways is a separate entity out of the purview of the Central Government. She considers it to be her private individual property and misuses railway money extravagantly for the promotion of her party interests.

After becoming Union Railway Minister, Mamata Banerjee has formed three new Committees to reward the Maoist intellectuals and the opportunists who had worked for her in the last Parliamentary Elections, 2009. Under her instruction, the Railway Board under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India has issued a Government Order bearing No. ERB-1/2009/23/33 on 9th October 2009 constituting the said committees with detailed facilities.

1 Heritage and Cultural Committee under the chairpersonship of Smt. Shaoli Mitra

2 Passengers’ Amenities Committee under the chairpersonship of Shri Subhaprasanna Bhattacharjee

3 Passengers’ Amenities Committee under the chairpersonship of Shri Derek-o-Brayen

The entire expenses of these committees amounting to more than Rs. 50 Lakhs per month will be borne by the Indian Railways. Each full time member of the Committee will be paid Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) as monthly allowance and each part-timer will be paid Rs. 25,000/- per month without performing any job. They will be also provided with the following facilities and amenities free of cost as per the said Government Order.

· Meeting allowance @ Rs. 520/-per meeting

· Free 1st Class AC Railway Pass with one companion

· Travel in Executive Class by flight

· Travel on road by car to be provided by the Indian Railways

· Lodging and boarding in Class I hotel anywhere

· Free telephone with ISD/STD facilities both at residence and office

· Free Medical treatment and facilities at the cost of the Indian Railways

· TA & DA at par with railway officers

Each member of the committees can appoint Private Secretary and required number of peons.

The Chairperson of each committee can extend the Committee by co-opting any person though to be necessary.

These committees are unprecedented in the history of the Indian Railways. This is the first time that such expensive committees have been constituted at the cost of the public exchequer to accommodate sycophants and so-called champions of tribals and downtrodden. These sycophants often used to raise the questions of nepotism, corruption and exploitation. But now they are most shamelessly engaged in the same.

Maoist intellectuals Bibhas Chakraborty, theatre personality, Arpita Ghosh, theatre personality, Joy Goswami, poet, Bratya Basu, theatre personality, Pallab Kirtania, Singer, Rituparna Ghosh, film director, Ustad Rashid Khan, artist, GS Raitela, Director General, National Council of Science Museum, Ratan Thiyam, theatre personality and many others have been made their members.

Apart from this, the sycophant singers are being paid abnormal fees for singing in the inaugural functions. Shri Nachiketa Chakraborty has been paid Rs. 70,000/- per function. Similarly, the Maoist singer Pallab Kirtania has also been paid abnormal fees for the same purpose.

The loot and plunder of public exchequer by Mamata Banerjee along with her Maoist intellectuals and sycophants is unprecedented in the history of Indian Railways. All opposition parties irrespective of affiliation should raise the matter on the floor of the Parliament, which is now in session to save public money from being plundered by the so-called champions of tribals and farmers.

It is most surprising that Medha Patkar, Arundhati Roy and other intellectuals have been maintaining mysterious and motivated silence over the issue.

TRINAMOOL CONGRESS MP FED UP WITH PARTY SUPREMO MAMATA BANERJEE

COMMENTS MADE BY KABIR SUMAN, MP ON HIS PARTY TRINAMOOL CONGRESS AND SUPREMO MAMATA BANERJEE IN AN INTERVIEW TO TIMES OF INDIA DATED 18TH NOVEMBER, 2009

‘…. he was tired of pursuing MPLAD projects that local Trinamool leaders want to ‘monopolize’

“They want him to just stay at home and sign the papers.”

“Local party interests were hampering his development programmes.”

“Whenever I try to raise an issue, the leaders try to divert it urge me to sing a song instead.”

“…. the party had turned him into a slave.”

“I am sick and tired of these people. Shovan Chattopadhyay (Kolkata Municipal Corporation borough chairperson and a Mamata Banerjee loyalist) told me I need not go to the villages. He asked me to stay at home and sign the papers. If that is so, why the hell am I an MP? Let the MPLAD renamed Party-LAD. They want to do whatever they feel like”.

The singer complained that when he refused to sign on the dotted line, the local leaders hurled buses at him at public meetings.

“I am very sorry to say that my party is full of petty and corrupt leaders at the local level who are not letting me work for the development of my constituency and there is no redressal in sight. I am so fed up with the fact that though I am an MP, I have very little freedom to work on my own. That is why I burst out at the press conference.”

“They (Trinamool leaders) want me to hand over the funds (MPLAD) to them so that they can spend the money on items that they think are important. Needless to say, I tried to find out what their plans are and I am convinced that their intentions are dishonest.”

“I tried to attract her (Mamata Banerjee) attention to corrupt party men in my constituency several times. Unfortunately, I was unable to convince her. Each time she would say, “you rather sing a song!”

“I am feeling helpless about the fact that as an MP I am not being able to address the problems of my area.”

“But none does anything to solve my problems. No one even tries to bring these corrupt party men to book.”

“There’s no denying that I am upset. This is not how I wanted to work as an MP.”

MAHASETA DEVI SUPPORTS MAOIST LEADER CHATRADHAR MAHATO. MAOISTS HAVE FRESH PLANS TO ASSASSINATE BUDDHADEB (By B. Prasant in People’s Democracy)

Police investigations reveal that the CPI (Maoist) has plans afoot to assassinate Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee in Kolkata. There is another plan in the pipeline to mount an assault on the Writers’ Buildings with hundreds of trained armed cadres. The interrogation of a couple of top-level left sectarian leaders has led the police to these conclusions. Suicide attacks, too are not ruled out.

Speaking to People’s Democracy, Biman Basu, state secretary of Bengal CPI (M) said that the ‘Trinamulis and all their associates, cohorts, lackeys and underlings, here and abroad, including the self-styled ‘Maoists’ are planning all the while to assassinate our Party leaders and workers. ‘This,’ said Biman ‘is a condemnable and comprehensively counter-democratic exercise’.

Biman continued to say that ‘the present disclosure clearly depicts that these reactionary forces and their patrons in the ruling classes and the big media, have not any lesion, and are continuing to engaged in nefarious acts of commission. There is need to isolate and identify them as the enemy of the people.

KOLKATA RENDEZVOUS

The ‘Maoists’ confessed that this time the fresh ‘place of occurrence, has been chosen to be Kolkata city and its surrounds for the performance of the nefarious acts that these goons have carried out with impunity in Midnapore west in particular, in the past, especially the recent past.

The assassins organised and held a series of meetings very recently, probably last week, in a house (location unrevealed) in downtown Kolkata. At least one of the meetings saw the national level leaders of the criminals present including the shadowy figure of ‘Kishanji’. The ‘Maoists’ came to and went away from the rendezvous in luxury vehicles of a wealthy and well-known person who resides in the city and is known to have an enormous anti-CPI (M) frame of mind.

Incidentally, earlier reports from the police sources have already revealed that a couple of dozen-odd persons of the metropolis have kept close touch with the killers and have pro vided them not merely with news and views but leadership material as well.

Added to these’ Maoist-loving individuals are at least four political parties which act as the goons’ patrons and co-conspirators against the CPI (M) and the Left Front Government, especially chief minister Buddhadeb. Names and addressed of the individual patrons of the murderers are now made known to the police who prefer not to go public at the moment.

MURDEROUS PLAN

The entire plan to assassinate Buddhadeb fulminated over the past four months, we learn. The action was to be led by Sasadhar Mahato, the ever loving brother-at-arms of the Trinamuli goon Chatradhar Mahato, and by Sasadhar’s wife ‘Suchitra’ who is a hard core member of the armed squad leadership of the ‘Maoists’, having received arms training in neighbouring Jharkhand in the Giridih forests.

A question that is obvious for the asking is the modus operandi of so many criminals moving freely in the city, evading, even eluding, the extensive police network, particularly of the plainclothesmen belonging to the Special Branch (SB), and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), plus the central agencies like the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

The police response borders on naiveté but is plausible enough to be mentioned. It noted that the criminals moved around under the cover of the protective kind a large number of anti-Communist ‘intellectuals’ and performing artists whose photos, it needs mention, deep in consultation with Chatradhar Mahato in the forest clearings of Midnapore west, have already appeared in the media.

ADJUTANTS OF KILLERS

The police have of late taken into custody two individuals from Jadavpur who led and organised two pro-‘Maoist’ outfits. The for a are the ‘Lalgarh Solidarity Manch’ and the ‘Mass Resistance Manch’. At least one of the two criminals interrogated has named the top floor of a multi-storied building at Prafulla Sarkar Street near to the place where the vast offices of the Patrika group is located, as a ‘safe house’ for the killers and their adjutants.

Another place of rendezvous has been a building on Lenin Sarani near where the office of a ‘political outfit’ of sorts is located, and the outfit is known for its strong and violent antipathy towards the CPI (M) as well as for their oozing sympathy for the Trinamulis and the ‘Maoists’. Always in attendance at the meetings among others were the brothers Sasadhar and Chhatradhar. The latter is presently in jail custody after having spent a week or so in police custody.

Meanwhile, on October 10, the Trinamul supremo gave a long interview to her favourite channel Star Ananda, an Anand Bazar Patrika group affiliate. There she invited ‘Kishanji’ for a ‘bilateral talk’, and even went so far as to say that the killers ‘have executed a series of good work’, without bothering to expand on her cryptic comments.

The chieftain once again spoke of her opposition to the security forces operation at and around Lalgarh. The chief also pointed out that the killing of the Trinamuli goon Nishikanta Mondal in Midnapore east was ‘probably not the work of ‘Maoists’. We in this connection remember that the ‘Maoists’ have already expressed their eagerness to ‘see the Trinamuli leader as the Bengal chief minister’.

PERVERTED AND SOLD OUT MAOISTS AND NAXALITES SUPPORT MAMATA BANERJEE IN DESTROYING INDUSTRY IN WEST BENGAL

On 3rd October, 2008 just on the eve of Durga Puja in 2008 the Tatas were forced to leave unwillingly Singur even after completion of 95% of their Nano Car Factory spending about 1500 crores as a result of the conspiratorial violent agitation of Mamata Banerjee launched in connivance with Maoists, Congress, SUCI, BJP, communal fundamentalists, perverted & spineless intellectuals and foreign funded human rights activists with the financial assistance and guidance from the industrial competitors, finance capital and imperialists. The damage caused to the future of West Bengal is undoubtedly not only irreparable but also unprecedented.

In fact, the one and only aim of this dirty political exercise was to destabilize the Left Front Government throwing to the winds the interests of the state and install Mamata Banerjee as the next Chief Minister of West Bengal.

It is none else but she who forcibly did not also allow coming up of much-awaited Chemical Hub at Nandigram, expansion of National Highways, construction of Hospitals, I.T. Parks, Bridges, Aerodromes, Industries, Thermal Power Plants and other developmental works in West Bengal.

However, the Left Government did not give up hope and after much endeavour it was able to rope in BHEL to set up a 1600 MW Power Plant at the abandoned 997 acres of Nano factory at Singur. BHEL is one of the Nav Ratnas owned by Central Government, which has orders worth 30,000 crores in its hand now. There is a flicker of hope for Tata Motors’ abandoned Singur site. A team from central government-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) visited the place along with state government officials for the project with the West Bengal Power Development Corporation. BHEL General Manager S.C. Mittal was accompanied by WBPDC managing director Debashis Sen. The team also met Tata Motors representatives at the site. The setting up of the Power Plant is under process between BHEL and the Left Front Government.

But Mamata Banerjee is adamant not to allow establishment of any industry at Singur or in West Bengal. So, she, being the personification of destruction, distortion of facts, arrogance, duplicity, dictatorship, violence, provocations, hypocrisy, whims and blatant lies, has again plunged into the arena with the old demand of return of 400 acres of land to the landowners unwilling to part with their land or hand over the entire land to her for the establishment of a Railway Coach Factory.

There is a new coach factory coming up at Rae Bareli. She has announced an EMU and MEMU factory in Halishahar in Bengal in her Budget. Her predecessor has announced another factory at Palghat in Kerala, where the state government will provide 1,000 acres of land free of cost to the Railways. The capacity of Integrated Coach Factory and the Railway Coach Factory is also being increased. So, how can another coach factory be viable?"

If it is a locomotive factory she wants, there are doubts about that, too. There are already two locomotive factories under construction in Bihar - Chhapra and Madhepura. What will she do with a new one in Bengal? The person who drove the Tata factory out of Singur now wants to build another factory.

There is no denying the fact that Mamata Banerjee herself knows well both the demands are unreasonable as well as impossible to meet on the following grounds.

(1) It is not 400 but around 181 acres only.

(2) The 181 acres of land is not a compact single piece of land. It is a fragmented one consisting of thousands pieces of broken plots and remains scattered all over the site. If these fragmented plots are to be returned, neither BHEL nor the Railways will be able to set up any industry with about 1500 private owners residing with their families in the midst of the coming up factory.

(3) Last, but not the least. Once acquired, no land can be returned until and unless the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 is amended suitably for the purpose. In case of non-utilization, the land has to be put into auction by the state government and the highest bidder will get the same in terms of present provisions of the relevant act.

The fact of the matter is that Mamata Banerjee is not at all interested in setting up any industry there. Her only disastrous objective is to dramatize the issue in order to destroy industrialization of West Bengal and thereby augment her own vested political interests with the help and guidance of the Maoists, Congress, BJP, SUCI, sold-out intellectuals and foreign funded human rights activists.

During the period of both Narshimha Rao and Atal Bihari Bajpai, she as the Railway Minister and the Coal Minister had inaugurated whimsically a number of projects without budgetary support or approval of the concerned ministries. None of them have yet been implemented and the lands acquired for these inaugurated projects have still been lying vacant. The drama does not stop here. She has been flagging off old trains in new names and also laying afresh foundation stones of old projects, which were inaugurated long back with foundation stone still lying therein.

She has been acquiring forcibly thousands of acres of most fertile lands in UP, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and other states for the implementation of the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors and Industrial Corridor ignoring the vehement objection and stiff resistance of the land losers. Is it not double standard or duplicity?

She holds an important portfolio in the Central Government and also is one of the most powerful ministers. If she is really interested for the welfare of the farmers, instead of creating problems for others, she can exert her office to get the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 amended easily in favour of the unwilling landowners.

It is unfortunate we live in such a country where people are swayed away by wave, hypocrisy, duplicity and blatant false propaganda of the political leaders and ‘so-called’ political leaders and social workers without considering the fact, ground reality and merit of the case.

RAILWAY MINISTER SUPPORTING MAOISTS ACQUIRES FORCIBLY FERTILE AGRICULTURAL LAND FOR EASTERN AND WESTERN DEDICATED FREIGHT CORRIDORS

Mamata Banerjee as the Indian Railway Minister with the financial assistance of Japan has decided to accelerate the western and eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors (DFC) along its busy trunk routes to augment the transport capacity and meet the growing requirements of moving freight.

(1) The western Delhi-Mumbai DFC covering 1,483-km through Delhi, National Capital Region (NCR), Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra at a cost of Rs.26, 124 crores will stretch from the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Navi Mumbai to Dadri in Uttar Pradesh on the national capital's outskirts covering Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

High fertile farming land falling in villages of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra are covered under western corridor project.

Another project, the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor will also be developed simultaneously through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) along with the freight corridor.

The Railway Ministry expects to complete both the freight corridor and the industrial corridor by 2013.

(2) The eastern DFC will extend 1,806 km from Ludhiana in Punjab to Dankuni near Kolkata. It will be extended in future to serve the new deep-sea port in the Kolkata area and to largely serve coal and steel traffic. Here also fertile 3-crop/4-crop land will be acquired for the purpose.

The railways need to acquire 12,500 hectares over 51 districts in seven states for the proposed eastern and western freight corridor projects. The railways are demanding 42 per cent more 3-crop/4-crop fertile farming land for the project than what was previously envisaged. This is in sharp contrast to the earlier estimate of 8,833 hectares.

The railways have prepared land acquisition plans for 2,200 km. It has already issued a gazette notification for acquisition of 3-crop/4-crop high fertile farming land in villages of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra covering a stretch of 1,077 km.

By the end of January 2009, the railways will be able to acquire nearly 100 km near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The remaining areas will be acquired over six months.
The Railway Ministry on September 29, 2008 had published a notification declaring its intention to acquire 3-crop/4-crop fertile farming lands in Gujarat for execution, maintenance, management and operation of special rail corridor project following which farmers losing their 3-crop/4-crop fertile farming lands in these villages had raised about 1301 objections.

A year later on September 15, 2009, the government published a Notification stating that it has acquired 700 hectares of 3-crop/4-crop fertile farming land in 31 villages in three talukas and Vadodara city of Gujarat for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project.

Farmers and sharecroppers in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat have started agitation against the acquisition of highly fertile agriculture land for the proposed Freight Corridor.

They have suggested redesigning of the routes for sparing valuable 3-crop/4-crop fertile farming lands from acquisition and said the compensation package offered to these farmers in lieu of their 3-crop/4-crop fertile farming land was very less and not acceptable to them. The Railways have taken away their fertile farming land at throw away prices and rendered them jobless.

The farmers of Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh under the banner of Krishi Bhoomi Bachao Sangharsh Samiti and Satya Foundation (SF) have started agitation against the acquisition of their fertile farming land for the proposed freight corridor of Indian Railways.

It was seen that during Singur and Nandigram episodes, all the opposition political parties including TMC, Congress, BJP, SUCI, Maoists and Naxalites had not only supported the violent agitation of Mamata Banerjee in the name of saving fertile agricultural land but also actively participated in the same. Besides, Mahasweta Devi and other ‘pseudo’ intellectuals and ‘so-called’ human rights activists had day and night campaigned vociferously against the Left Front Government and helped the agitators and goons in all possible ways to sabotage the industrial resurgence. Shri Lal Krishna Advani, Shri Amar Singh and other leaders of anti-Leftist national political parties had regularly been to Nandigram and Singur to add fuel to fire by expressing their solidarity with Mamata Banerjee and the agitators.

As a result, dreams of two major projects have been shattered. Opposition to government intervention in land acquisition helped Mamata Banerjee gain enormous political mileage, but it has left industry in West Bengal with Hobson’s choice

It is an irony that the same Mamata Banerjee has been now engaged in acquiring forcibly most fertile lands in seven states for Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors despite stiff and vehement opposition from the landowners and farmers. But the said political parties, national leaders, ‘pseudo’ intellectuals, Maoists, Naxalites and ‘so-called’ human rights activists are shamelessly silent on the matter. Nobody has yet met the affected farmers to give a patient hearing to them and address their grievances.

There cannot be separate rules for separates states in this country on acquisition of land. But yes, there is. Strange is the politics in this country.

The fact is that all forces ranging from ultra leftists to ultra rightists including those of communal, imperialist, finance capital and a section of media have ganged up with one and only aim to dislodge the Left Front Government anyway and at any cost. They donot abide by any logic, reason or fact. They with their obligation to imperialism went against all norms of civilized political behaviour and supported TMC which is nothing but a nuisance to Indian Politics dominated by one eccentric person devoid any ideology or policy

There is no denying the fact that hundreds of farmers have already committed suicide in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and other states. Thousands and thousands acres of fertile land has been acquired under duress in many states for industries and other developmental works depriving the farmers of their landed property. But none of the saviors of tribals, peasants and the underprivileged are seen in the picture to express their solidarity with the deprived. Is it not ambivalence?

The double standard, fraudulency and duplicity maintained by political frauds, perverted intellectuals and foreign funded human rights activists are nothing but mockery of democracy, integrity, transparency and honesty. These people stand exposed today. History will judge judiciously these swindlers working on the pay roll of imperialists, foreign finance capital and big business houses in the days to come and throw them into dustbin.

WHY SOCALLED HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS SUPPORTING MAOISTS SILENT ON RAPE AND MURDER OF A GIRL IN NAKASHIPARA, WEST BENGAL BY MAOIST-TMC MAFIA GOONS?

The dead body of a girl Rupa Biswas of village Bahirgachi under Nakashipara Police Station in Nadia district was found on 26-07-2009 in the village. It was confirmed that the girl was murdered after rape. The Maoist-TMC Member of Parliament Tapas Pal, under whose constituency the areas falls, went to the spot and while addressing the agitated people asked them to beat the unknown rapists to death otherwise he himself would do so.

On 29-10-2009 on the basis of definite information and investigation the police has arrested local Maoist-TMC Mafia leader Shyamal Bhattacharjee and 3 other TMC-Maoist Mafia goons for rape and murder of Rupa Biswas.

It is not only most unfortunate and but also shameful and shocking for the society that the so-called intellectuals and human rights activists, who are on the pay roll of finance capital, big business houses and imperialists, have not uttered a single word against one after another rape and murder committed by their beloved TMC-Maoist ‘so-called’ revolutionaries. But during the Nandigram episode these politically motivated perverts had unleashed a flood of false and manufactured propaganda of rape of women and murder of children.

MAMATA BANERJEE REMOVES ALL CHAIRMEN OF RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARDS TO FILL UP 1, 72,444 GROUP ‘C’ AND ‘D’ VACANT POSTS WITH MAOIST-TMC MAFIA GOONS

The Maoist Railway Minister has all on a sudden removed 20 chairmen of the Railway Recruit Boards out 21 in the country before expiry of their term without assigning any reason thereof and appointed her own sycophants and men in their place. Almost all the removed officials were senior officials of the Indian Railways and appointed during the regime of her predecessor. This pre-planned action on her part is unprecedented in the history of the Indian Railways.

Now, the following pertinent questions have arisen very logically and reasonably.

(1) What were the grounds for their removal?

(2) If they are engaged in corruption or are inefficient, why the same have not yet been made public?

(3) If they were engaged in corruption, why action on that basis has not yet been initiated against them?

(4) What are the qualifications of those appointed newly in their places?

(5) Are all the newly appointed Chairmen honest and efficient?

In this connection, it would be not out of place to mention that 1, 72,444 vacancies in the Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts are lying vacant in the railways. The TMC leaders and workers have been distributing forms in different places of West Bengal for appointment in these vacant railway posts.

Maoist Mamata Banerjee thinks the Indian Railways is her own private property. The above-mentioned action of the Maoist Railway Minister is to pave way for the appointment of Maoist-TMC Mafia goons in the 1, 72,444 vacancies illegally throwing to winds all recruitment rules and regulations. So, she needs her own men on the Railway Recruitment Boards in 20 cities of the country.

It is pertinent to mention that she has already appointed Subhaprasanna Bhattacharjee, Shaoli Mitra and other Maoist ‘pseudo’ intellectuals on different committee of the railways at the cost of huge public money. She did not stop here. She has provided them with life-long Free A.C. Railway Passes with one companion for campaigning in her favour in the last Parliamentary Elections, 2009.

The Prime Minister should cause immediately a detailed and thorough enquiry into the reshuffle of the Railway Recruitment Boards and place the fact before all in national interest because Indian Railways is not the private property of any individual or political party.

SOCALLED INTELLECTUALS ON PAY ROLL OF IMPERIALISTS, BIG BUSINESS HOUSES & FINANCE CAPITAL MAINTAIN STUDIED SILENCE ON INHUMAN BRUTALITY BY THEIR BELOV

There is no denying the fact that the society demands timely and proper disposal of the dead body of even a creature with due honour and respect. But the whole world witnessed with horror and shock how the dead bodies of 4 poor tribal CPI (M) cadres butchered by Maoist-TMC-Congress-SUCI Alliance were kept in open for 5 days in a stretch without allowing their disposal by the Maoist-TMC criminals at Lalgarh in West Bengal. Their relatives were neither allowed to cry nor come near and touch the bodies of their dear and beloved ones. The Maoist-TMC goons danced and sang around the bodies with drums and other musical instruments in the same manner as cannibals practice the ritual before consuming dead human bodies. Their brutality and inhumanity surpassed all limits of human tolerance and society.

In the meantime, Maoist-TMC goons have already butchered more than 300 innocent people. Out of this 300, more than 100 are tribals.

But it is most shocking and shameful to find that the perverted intellectuals who often talk about human rights and tribal’s welfare have not yet come out with any statement condemning the on-going ghastly incidents in West Bengal. On the other hand, these hypocrites on the pay roll of imperialists, big business house and finance capital are helping the Maoist-TMC murderers and rapists in creating a reign of terror in West Bengal to dislodge the Left Front Government anyhow and at any cost to please their masters.

2ND TIME STONE LAYING OF THE SAME BRIDGE BY MAMATA BANERJEE!

As the Railway Minister in the NDA Government, Mamata Banerjee had laid the foundation stone of bridge on river Ganges at Naihati between Naihati and Bandel in West Bengal on 26th June 2002 and named it Bankim Bridge. The stone still remains exposed and shining. The construction work is going on and 40% to 45% of the same is almost complete.

It is ridiculous to find that Mamata Banerjee has again inaugurated the construction of the same bridge for the 2nd time on 08-11-2009 spending extravagantly huge public money in the midst of her sycophants, perverted intellectuals and Maoist-TMC goons. This time she has renamed it as “Sampriti Bridge”. This is unprecedented in the history of not only the Indian Railway but also that of the country.

Since her taking over the charge of the Railway Ministry, the number of accidents, accidental deaths and damage to railway properties by her ally the Maoists have increased manifold. Instead of giving attention to the safety and security of the passengers and the railway properties, she has shamelessly been performing political circus and gimmick at the cost of the public money for petty political gains. Most of the time she remains in West Bengal engaged in creating a reign of terror and lawlessness wherever she goes, inaugurating old trains in new names and other political stunts and drama.

The Prime Minister should look into this matter and advise her to discharge her constitutional responsibilities instead of performing tricks and feats of political jugglery.

MAMATA BANERJEE IN COLLUSION WITH MAOISTS ENDANGERS THE LIVES OF THE RAILWAY EMPLOYEES

The Adra Division of the Eastern Railways has been under constant attack of the Maoist Mafias for the last two years. This division falls within the Maoist Mafia infested Jangalmahal area. The railway employees of this have been working with their life in their hands. Their life has become more unsafe and risky with the installation of Maoist Mamata Banerjee as the Railway Minister. Both the Maoists and the TMC goons roam together with arms in these areas. Many officials and employees suffering from insecurity are trying to get themselves transferred to other divisions. The Maoist-TMC goons often come to the railway officials in search for names and addresses of the contractors so as to extort from them. Besides, the TMC goons are trying to force the railway officials to employ their own men.

The Railway Protection Force could not take any action against the Maoist-TMC goons. The gang men, gate men and porter men have to work on the railway tracks in isolated places without any security. There are no firearms in the hands of the R.P.F. guarding trains from Chandil to Purulia Railway Station. The few R.P.F. with arms on 315 UP Chakradharpur-Howrah Train passing through Maoist infested areas always remain panicky.

The detention of Rajdhani Express by Maoists at Banstala Railway Station on 27th October, 2009 in collusion with the Maoist Railway Minister for the release of Maoist leader Chatradhar Mahato has increased their panic and apprehension manifold. A few glaring examples of the sabotage caused by the Maoists in collusion with TMC in the said division are furnished as hereunder.

(1) The Maoist-TMC goons blow up the railway station of Biramdih falling in between Adra-Chandil Section on 26-06-2007.

(2) Posters threatening the railway employees of Biramdih Railway Station were pasted on 14th August 2007.

(3) Heavy damage was caused to the Biramdih Railway Station on 13th May 2008 being the previous day of the Bandh called by the Maoists.

(4) A R.P.F man was killed and his arm was snatched at Barabhum Railway Station.

(5) The gang men recovered a landmine planted at the Biramdih Railway Station on 22nd June 2009.

(6) Bob blast by Maoists near Ursha Railway Station.

(7) Blowing up railway tracks between Ursha and Kantadih Railway Station by Maoists on 2nd October 2009.

(8) The detention of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Banstala Railway Station by Maoist-TMC goons for the release of Maoist terrorist Chatradhar Mahato.

It is high time that the Prime Minister should cause a detailed enquiry by CBI into the activities of the Maoist Railway Minister so as to ensure safety and security of not only the railway passengers but also the entire railways in national interest.

FRAUD HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS SILENT ON MURDER OF 75 YEAR OLD WOMAN AND RAPE OF HER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW BY MAOIST –TMC GOONS

The unprecedented brutality and violence of the Maoist-TMC action squad members in West Bengal particularly one women and minor girls keep on increasing dangerously with the passage of each day.

(1) In last July 2009 a poor underprivileged woman Anjali Maiti of Tikashi Gram Panchayat under Khejuri Police Station was repeatedly raped in a stretch for some days by Maoist-TMC action squad members taking advantage of the absence of her husband, who, being a CPI (M) supporter, had fled to save his life from the wrath of the killers leaving behind his wife to look after the ancestral home.

(2) On 27th September 2009 at about 9-00 p.m. 35-40 Maoist-TMC armed goons attacked Muslim dominated locality of Mollapara in CPI (M) supporter village called Baradighrui under Purshura Police Station in Hooghly district of West Bengal. During this attack, they torched most of the houses of the poor people and assaulted seriously CPI (M) farmer leader Seikh Hashibul Hussain. His waist and legs were not only broken to pieces but was also repeatedly stabbed seriously in the back with pointed spears.

He was admitted to Arambagh Hospital and after fighting with death for 11 days he expired on 9th October 2009.

After attacking Seikh Hashibul Hussein, they went to the nearby house of another CPI (M) supporter family belonging 75 year old Saifunissa. Seeing them approaching, all her sons named Sk. Mossaraf Hussain, Sk. Nazir, Sk. Mujibur Rehaman, Sk. Moyunuddin, Sk. Nayeem and other male members fled to save their lives leaving behind female members and children. The goons started to assault females. One of them snatched 1.1/2 years grandson Riyaz from the lap of his mother and tried to throw him into the nearby pond. Seeing this Saifunissa prevented him from doing so. At this the goons became furious and started to beat her with sticks and bamboos. She received serious injuries in her left leg. The brutality of the Maoist-TMC criminals did not stop here. Some of them caught one of her daughter-in-laws Siddique Begum and gangraped her repeatedly. Other female members were also molested.

Saifunissa remained lying in the house suffering for two days without any treatment as nobody dared enter her house. On 29th September 2009 she was rescued by the police and admitted to Arambagh Government Hospital.

On seeing deterioration in her health, she was referred to S.S.K.M. Hospital on 9th October 2009 in a serious condition. The attending physicians expressed the need for amputation of her left leg to save her life. But she was practically in a coma without responding to medical treatment and succumbed to her fatal serious injuries at 4-30 p.m. on 4th November 2009.

Instead of showing any sympathy for the old lady of 75, Mamata Banerjee, in order to protect the offenders, declared brazenly in a mass meeting at Arambagh in the afternoon of the same day that Saifunissa Bibi had died a natural death. She did not stop here. She incited her supporters to create such a situation so that the Central Government will be forced to impose President’s Rule in West Bengal advancing the assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2011.

Next day Saifunissa Bibi was laid in rest in the graveyard of her family by her sons and near relatives. But all of them had to leave their ancestral home immediately to pass their days in the refugee camps.

(3) At night of 22nd October 2009 in the village of Mogra in Ramchak Gram Panchayat under Moyna Police Station in East Midnapur, West Bengal the Maoist-TMC action squad members under the leadership of one Pankaj Mondal in a conciliation meeting asked a widow and mother of three children Smt. Malabika Maji to commit suicide after giving her bad name on false grounds. When the helpless lady refused to do so, she was tied to a big tree and torched after pouring kerosene on her body. However, she was rescued by the villagers and admitted to Moyna Rural Hospital where she is still fighting for her life.

The West Bengal Women’s Commission has already caused detailed investigations into the gruesome incidents and found all of them true. The Commission has condemned them in the strongest possible manner and recommended the state government to take exemplary drastic actions against the Maoist-TMC culprits.

But it is most unfortunate, shameful, shocking and regrettable that the ‘so-called’ contractors of the civil society and savior of tribals in the garb of intellectuals, foreign funded agents working in the guise of human rights activists and the politically motivated media have not yet come out with any statement or writing condemning the ghastly incidents of atrocities on helpless poor women because all these atrocities fall within the purview of revolutionary performance and activities of CPI (Maoist)-TMC Alliance and its vanguards fighting against the CPI (M).

PSEUDO INTELLECTUALS HELP MAMATA BANERJEE TO CREATE A REIGN OF TERROR TO IMPOSE 356 IN WEST BENGAL

Some sycophants and perverts try to term Mamata Banerjee as a firebrand leader. Is it really so? If anyone tries to look at her past and present track of records, he will find that she is nothing but a personification of indiscipline, destruction immoral principles, opportunism, conveniences, Fascism, arrogance, blatant lies and duplicity.

There is no denying the fact that wherever she goes, she accompanies with her a force engaged in destruction, obstruction, assault, hooliganism, rowdyism, loot, provocation, fire setting, murder, plunder and rape. She and her colleagues speak the language of the underworld.

The whole country saw how Mamata Banerjee and her perverted goons on the slightest pretext had destroyed the valuable property inside the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, again and again burnt all kinds of both public and private vehicles to ashes, damaged government offices and its properties worth crores and crores of rupees. She had obstructed railways tracks and National Highways for days together during Singur and Nandigram agitations including Durgapur Highway Express. She did not forcibly allow coming up industries and executing developmental works in the state.

The Indian Railways is in a mess under her. The safety and security of the passengers are in danger. In fact, her political friends the Maoists have a free hand in the railways.

Now, she is hell bent on burning the state by way of creating a reign of terror and complete lawlessness to facilitate paving way for the imposition of President’s rule so as to advance as early as possible the assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2011.

The Maoist Fascists with red flags, imperialists, international finance capital, big business houses, ‘pseudo’ intellectuals and politically motivated media back her dangerous mission and operation. The present violence taking place in Lalgharh, Khanakul, Nanoor, Mangalkote and other parts of the state is nothing but part and parcel of this game plan hatched with Maoists, pseudo intellectuals and politically motivated media favouring her.

MAMATA BANERJEE HELPS MAOISTS

Some ‘so-called’ intellectuals as well as ‘pseudo’ human rights activists representing the Maoists have been urging the Governments both at the centre and the states to lay down arms and shun ‘so-called’ state terror as a pre-condition for a dialogue with the Maoists. They are of course intentionally playing into the hands of the antinational terrorist outfit with some ulterior motive despite knowing fully their ultimate aim, objective and modus operandi.

These perverts never condemn one after another brutality perpetrated by the Maoists in different states for the last few years. Abduction, extortion of money at gun point, butchering, open trial & sentencing to death in public and other gruesome activities on the part of the Maoists seem to them a birthright of the perpetrators. On the other hand, whenever the Government arrests any of them or takes any action in the defence of the common people from he Maoist marauders they plunge into the arena making a hue and cry in the name of ‘so-called’ human rights and natural justice for them under the constitution, which the Maoists discard.

The Maoists believe in the “annihilation of class enemies” and in “extreme violence” as a means to armed seizure of state power through guerrilla warfare. With this perspective, participation in elections and engagement with the prevailing ‘democracy’ are rejected. Their actions and ideas are incompatible to a democratic set up.

As part of its strategy, the cadres of both the CPI and the CPI (M) are declared as class enemies; whereas Mamata Banerjee, her party TMC and SUCI are considered class friends.

It supports all the ‘so-called’ nationalities’ struggles going in different parts of the country including ‘Gorkhaland’ and ‘Kamtapuri’ agitations for separate homelands, armed struggle in ‘Kashmir’ by Pakistani supported militants for independence and all secessionist movements of northeast.

Its armed force have 7000 armed cadres, 6000 fire arms including a large number of rifles of AK variety, light machine guns, self-loading rifles, carbines, 303s, grenades, revolvers, pistols and landmine technologies. It has also a technical squad which manufactures 12 bore guns and its ammunitions, repairs all kinds of weapons and assembles grenades.

This Maoist terrorist outfit is actually a perversion of Marxism-Leninism. It is an organization of assassins, hired killers, extortionists, blackmailers and mercenaries. It reportedly owns a fund amounting to more than 1,500 crores. The operation of the Maoists not only remain concentrated to kidnapping and looting of passengers traveling in trains and buses but also felling and selling of costly trees in collusion with wood smugglers in Jharkhand, Lalgarh, Jangalmahal and other areas. They also blow up bridges and other structures made of low quality materials to destroy proofs and evidences in order to help the contractors in exchange of money. In the name of fighting SEZ they are actually creating their own SEZ (Special Exploitation Zone) wherein these activities can be carried out uninterruptedly in the name of ‘so-called’ revolution and ‘Maoism’.

It must be underlined that contrary to the claims made by a section of pro-Maoist intellectuals that they are revolutionaries; these self-styled Maoists have nothing in common with the work and practice of the great revolutionary Mao-Ze Dong. During the lifetime and after the demise of Comrade Mao, the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) never used the term ‘Maoism,’ to denote a new theory. Rather, in the literature of the CPC and in the documents of their Party Congress's, the CPC has said that it follows Marxism-Leninism and Mao-ze Dong Thought.

It is evident through the interpretation of the CPC how Mao applied Marxism-Leninism to the specific conditions obtaining in China basing on its special characteristics. This is known as Mao-ze Dong thought. Those who are using the term ‘Maoism,’ are completely disregarding and dishonoring the vast revolutionary activities of Mao. These self-styled Maoists have degenerated into armed groups and have no qualms in killing poor people who dare oppose their extortionist terror.

This terrorist outfit is active in 156 districts of 17 states that include Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Uttaranchal and Kerala. It is responsible for 90% of the violence in the country. 721 people were killed in 1,591 Maoist attacks in 2008 and till August this year, 1,405 attacks claimed 580 lives spread over 11 states.

Maoist influence runs through a stretch of territory referred to as the "Red Corridor". This extends from the in Andhra Pradesh through and up to Bihar. Their objective of 'liberating' their proposed “Compact Revolutionary Zone” (CRZ) in other words “Red Corridor” extends from Nepal through Bihar Jharkhand in the North to Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Dandakaranya region (forest areas of Central India) and Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh in the South. Areas in western Orissa and eastern Uttar Pradesh are also under Maoist influence. And they have some presence in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as well. In most areas of the “Red Corridor” they operate as a hit-and-run force.

The intention is to have a continuous stretch of territory under their influence and control, with the ultimate goal of eventually "liberating" the entire zone. Large parts of this territory have already been brought under the extremist influence with only some link-ups now necessary in the remaining pockets to make the CRZ a reality. Once achieved, the CRZ will virtually drive a wedge through the vital areas of the country, and would help crystallize linkages with other Maoist groups operating in South Asia.

Districts that fall in the “Red Corridor” are rich in minerals like iron ore and bauxite. But the people living there, who are largely Adivasi or tribal are desperately poor. Exploited by forest officials, contractors, mining companies and middlemen and neglected by the state, villagers in the Red Corridor are among the worst off in the country. And it is to liberate them from their oppressors and the Indian state that the Maoists claim to be waging their armed struggle.

It is true the Maoists have improved life for the Adivasis by forcing local officials to dig wells or pay better wages to the villagers. But over time, the liberators have turned oppressors themselves. Villagers who don't obey the Maoists have been killed and Maoist violence stands in the way of development projects. The Maoists have worsened the daily lives of some of India's most exploited people.

As a matter of fact, the Maoists want to create a new independent domain within the country where the Indian Constitution shall not be applicable. This one and only one aim and objective will be achieved with the help of other anti-national outfits, ‘so-called’ intellectuals, ‘pseudo’ human rights activists, a section of media glorifying them and forces across the border.

MAOISTS WANTS TO SEE MAMATA BANERJEE AS THE CHIEF MINISTER OF WEST BENGAL IN 2011

MAOIST LEADER CHATRADHAR MAHATO WITH MAMATA BANERJEE IN LALGARH
On 03-10-2009 the “Ananda Bazar Patrika” a widely circulated Bengali daily in West Bengal has published in details a telephonic interview of one of the top Maoist leaders Koteswara Rao @ Kishenji. In the interview he has said that Mamata Banerjee is the fittest person to become the next Chief Minister of Bengal. So his organization wants to see her reaching the position and he also advised her to snap her ties with the Congress. He supported all the decisions and activities of TMC and at the same time opined that Mamata Banerjee and her party alone is enough to gain majority in the next assembly elections to be held in 2011. He has also advised her in details how to act after becoming the Chief Minister.

There is no denying that Mamata’s affectionate relations with Maoists are a ground reality and an open secret in the politics of West Bengal. The Maoists have time and again admitted in various documents published from time to time that their armed cadres are with Mamata Banerjee at Nandigram, Singur, Lalgarh, Jangalmahal, Keshpur, Garbeta and other places. They consider her as their most trusted ally and as the only alternative to the Left Front Government.

In this connection, it would not be out of place to mention that very recently Shri Ved Maroa, Chairman, Task Force relating to national security has submitted a detailed report to the Home Ministry alerting it about the large scale infiltration of Maoists in the Trinamool Congress. The infiltration is so much that now Maoists want Mamata Banerjee as the next Chief Minister of Bengal so that they can infiltrate into the administration.

As a matter of fact, the Maoists believe in the 'annihilation of class enemies' and in extreme violence as a means to secure organizational goals. It has affirmed its commitment to the classical Maoist strategy of 'protracted armed struggle' which defines its objectives not in terms of the seizure of lands, crops, or other immediate goals, but the seizure of power. Within this perspective, participation in elections and engagement with the prevailing 'bourgeois democracy' are rejected, and all efforts and attention is firmly focused on 'revolutionary activities' to undermine the state and seize power.

Dr. Manmohan Singh considers the Maoists as the single largest threat to the international security of the country.

The terrorist organization has already created a reign of terror in various parts of the country. Thousands of people and police personnel have already been butchered by it. Hundreds of bridges, railway stations, schools, mobile towers and other national properties have been blown. It has been able to create a large quantum of free zone with the help of antinational terrorist outfits supported, financed and guides by inimical countries and forces across the border.

Considering large scale terrorist antinational activities this organization has already been banned by the Central Government. But it is surprising to see that one of the important Central Cabinet Ministers and six other Ministers of the State belonging to TMC are actively and directly hand in gloves with this outlawed organization. Mamata Banerjee holds one hand to Dr. Manmohan Singh and the other to the Maoists. Her political platforms and various official railway functions are shared by well known Maoist-Naxalite terrorists, and pro-Maoist intellectuals. This has been sending wrong signals not only to the people of this nation but also abroad.

With the arrest of dreaded Maoist terrorist Chatradhar Mahato from Lalgarh, more and more startling and shocking disclosures about the unholy alliance of Mamata Banerjee with Maoists are coming to light.

The people of the country are very much confused and aggrieved over this alliance and hobnobbing of Mamata Banerjee with a banned terrorist organization. Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson of UPA, Dr. Manmohan Singh and Shri P. Chidambaram should, therefore, clarify in details the whole matter and their stand to the nation immediately.

HYPOCRISY OF 'SO-CALLED' INTELLECTUALS OF WEST BENGAL

In the evening of 2nd October, 2009 some ‘so-called’ intellectuals of West Bengal met the press at Kolkata and demanded the following.

(1) The joint force is to be withdrawn from Lalgarh immediately.

(2) The government should apologize for arresting him deceitfully.

(3) He should be given enough judicial protection.

(4) The Government should sit with the Maoists for an amicable solution.

While their press meet was in progress, 2 more innocent villagers were killed in Lalgarh by the Maoists. These perverts and foreign agents also maintained a studied silence over the killing of 17 innocent unarmed helpless and defenseless persons including women and minor children in Khagaria district of Bihar at night of 01-10-2009.

All along these shameless hypocrites and frauds justified the butchering of innocent people by the Maoists. They did not utter even a single word against the merciless killings by them? On the other hand, they termed the antinational terrorist and murderer Chatradhar Mahato a people’s leader and hero and also demanded enough judicial protection for him avoiding the fact that he is the same person who is responsible for the killing of hundreds of innocent unarmed people and who has amassed huge wealth and properties worth crores of rupees through extortion, blackmailing and other illegal activities. They even tried ridiculously to create an impression to the effect that Chatradhar Mahato has no connection with Maoists and the people being killed in Lalgarh are due to internal feud within CPI (M). These liars utter all these ludicrous words in spite of knowing fully that the Maoists have called Bharat Bandh on 03-10-2009 in protest against the arrest of Chatradhar Mahato and Kobad Gandhi.

The people of the state have not yet forgotten that these ‘pseudo’ intellectuals have so long been supplying money and arms to the antinational Maoist terrorists. The confession made by Chatradhar Mahato also reportedly corroborates the same. Not only that. They also smuggled out terrorists in their vehicles to protect them from police action.

Instead of expressing repentance to the nation and the grieved families of the murdered people for their activities, these sold out arrogants still sing and dance to the tune of antinational forces and terrorists.

There is no denying the fact that everybody is equal in the eye of law. Nobody is above it. If anti-national terrorists can be arrested and put to trial why these enemies of the country in the guise of ‘pseudo’ intellectuals should not be put behind bars for trial in the interest of the nation?

WHAT MAOISTS SAY ABOUT MAMATA BANERJEE

The Lalgarh episode has once again brought to the fore the nexus among the Trinamool Congress, the pseudo intellectuals, some politically motivated media, mysterious NGOs, so-called humans rights’ organizations and the Maoists.

The PSBJC Convener Chatradhar Mahato, a contractor by profession, is the brother of this Maoist Bikash. In an interview to NDTV on 22nd June, Chatradhar Mahato stated that he has been an activist of the Trinamool Congress and actively campaigned for it during the Panchayat elections in 2008. He also admitted that his brother is a Maoist.
Mamata Banerjee herself has provided active support to the Lalgarh blockade throughout and even addressed a rally of the PSBJC in Lalgarh on 4th February 2009, sharing the dais with Chatradhar Mahato. As the security forces’ operation in Lalgarh began, the double standards of Trinamool Congress and Mamata Banerjee got badly exposed:

17TH JUNE 2009

Partha Chatterjee, Trinamool MLA and leader of Opposition in WB Assembly: “If the Maoists are unleashing terror, then why is the CPI (M) not asking the government to ban the organization? The ‘Maoist drama’ has the support of the chief minister.” (Asian Age)

18TH JUNE 2009

Maoist leader Kishenji: “People will block the roads, the armed forces that come will be taught a lesson, the central govt., the Buddhadeb govt. will be taught a lesson…We are asking Mamata too, she was with us in Nandigram…now we want to know what stand she will take. She is now in the cabinet, the sole member from her party… The tribals here are sitting in protest against the Paramilitary forces, ready to fight them. Which side will Mamata support is what we want to know.” (NDTV)

20th June 2009

Mamata Banerjee: “If statements by Biman Bose and Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee linking our party with Maoists are not withdrawn within 48 hours, we will agitate to demand sacking of the government by the Centre. We don't believe in individual killings and don't have link with Maoists. We have been demanding ban on Maoists in the state…He himself (Buddhadeb Bhattacharya) had said once that he is fond of Maoist books and literature and has them at his residence.” (Outlook)

Kishenji: “She is playing a political game. Even though she is a member of the Central Cabinet, she has not said a single word against sending Central forces to Lalgarh. Now, to gain sympathy in West Bengal, she is saying that the police and the CPI (M) unleashed a reign of terror in Jangalmahal. This is clearly a case of double standards on her part. The mask has fallen from her face…After the Lalgarh movement started, Mamata Banerjee visited Lalgarh. The locals allowed her to visit this place. But now she will not be able to come to Lalgarh or any parts of Jangalmahal. We have also decided that we will prevent her from entering Nandigram and Singur, where we were part of the movement.” (Asian Age)

22ND JUNE 2009

Kishenji: “Mamata’s real interest is to grab power in West Bengal. Had she been sincere, she would have stepped down from the Union cabinet because the Centre has joined hands with the state government to unleash a reign of terror in Lalgarh” (India Today)

29TH JUNE 2009

Mamata Banerjee: “I am once again urging the central government not to provide support to the CPIM at Lalgarh and use central forces to unearth illegal arms stocked by the party…I urge the Centre to immediately convene an emergency meeting to be attended by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Home Minister P Chidambaram to review what actually is happening at Lalgarh in the name of flushing out Maoists.” (Hindustan Times)

1ST JULY, 2009

Mamata Banerjee: “What is going on at Lalgarh is a total drama. There are no Maoist activists in the region. If there had been any ultra Left activists, they have by now already fled the area and the Left Front government has allowed them to flee. Now in the name of running joint operations against the Maoists, the Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee government is just trying to regain its political base…” (Economic Times)

CONCLUSION

Despite the fact that not even one person has been injured or killed by the security forces since the beginning of the joint operations in June 2009, Maoist sympathizers have launched a high pitched campaign against “state repression” and “atrocities” in order to mislead people on the ground situation in Lalgarh. The fact is that more than 75 CPI (M) activists and supporters have been assassinated by the Maoists since the launch of the operations. Efforts by the Maoist sympathizers and the Trinamool Congress to stall the operations of the security forces are nothing but an attempt to perpetuate the reign of terror by the Maoists.

Some ‘pseudo’ intellectuals, some politically motivated media and some so-called Humans Right’s Organizations of West Bengal have again appeared on the streets to criticize the arrest of dreaded Maoist terrorist Chatradhar Mahato by police in Lalgarh on 26-09-2009. Besides, they have also demanded his immediate release. These “so-called” intellectuals habituated to sing, dance and perform tricks and feats of jugglery to the tune of imperialists, big corporate houses and Mamata Banerjee have been trying to project the terrorist and extortionist responsible for gruesome butchering of hundreds of innocent people in a couple of months in West Bengal as a “tribal hero”. During this mayhem the “so-called” intellectuals on the pay roll of imperialists maintained a studied silence and did not spend a single word to condemn the inhuman activities of the terrorists who are having direct links with other terrorist outfits of north-east and across the border enemy nations aiming at to subvert our country.

As a matter of fact, some of these ‘pseudo’ intellectuals represented by some dramatists, singers, actors, actresses, writers and poets have already been able to manage Life Long Free AC Railway Passes and berths on different Committees of the Indian Railways especially set up at the cost of the nation to accommodate them only and especially for their unequivocal support to the rainbow alliance of Maoist-TMC-Congress-SUCI during last Parliamentary Elections. Now, they have been standing in queue at the door of Mamata Banerjee waiting for tickets to State Assembly Elections in 2011, Padma Shree, Padma Bhusan, Padma Vibhusan and other national awards.

People must, therefore, remain cautious and alert about these purchased stooges and agents of imperialists who can take recourse to any anti-national activity and stoop to any level to in the interest of their vested interests. Some so-called intellectuals have also supported with money and arms to subvert democracy.

The unholy nexus among the Trinamool Congress, the pseudo intellectuals and the Maoists need to be exposed thoroughly.

WHAT MAOISTS ARE DOING NOW IN NANDIGRAM

JUST BEFORE 2 DAYS OF THE MURDER OF NISHIKANTA MONDAL, TMC PRADHAN OF SONACHURA GRAM PANCHAYAT IN NANDIGRAM, EAST MEDINIPUR, WEST BENGAL AT NIGHT OF 22-09-2009 THE FOLLOWING NEWS APPEARED IN THE “TELEGRAPH’, KOLKATA ON 20-09-2009.

“TRINAMUL ON MAOIST NOTICE
THREAT OVER NANDIGRAM ‘EXTORTION’
BY PRONAB MONDAL AND ANSHUMAN PHADIKAR
Sept. 20: Maoists have warned that Trinamul Congress activists in Nandigram will “pay with their lives” if they don’t stop threatening and extorting money from CPM activists.

A senior Maoist leader has said Trinamul workers in Nandigram who were “torturing” poor villagers just because they were CPM supporters would soon have to face verdict in the “people’s court”.

Nandigram, which was once a Left bastion, had become the launch pad for Trinamul’s resurgence after the land acquisition backlash that paid the Opposition party rich dividends in the panchayat and Lok Sabha elections.
During Mamata Banerjee’s land movement in Nandigram, the government and the CPM had often alleged that her party had the active support of the Maoists. Trinamul had dismissed such suggestions.

However, once the Centre sent paramilitary forces to Lalgarh and a security operation was launched, the Maoists started publicly criticising Trinamul for failing to stop the crackdown despite being part of the Union government. Maoist leader Kishanji had then accused Mamata of failing to return the favour extended in Nandigram.
The threat issued now by another Maoist leader has injected a menacing edge to what has so far been confined to occasional criticism.

Trinamul workers in Nandigram will have to “pay for their act, maybe with their lives”, the senior rebel leader — a CPI (Maoist) central committee member — said in a recent interaction.
In Nandigram, Trinamul men are targeting poor CPM supporters. They are extorting money from them and denying them jobs under the rural job scheme, he said.

The Telegraph spoke to some CPM supporters who said they were at the receiving end of Trinamul’s “extortion”.
One of them, 30-year-old Narayan Das, was not allowed to bring his father’s body back to his Sonachura home in Nandigram and Trinamul workers would not let him perform the last rites until he coughed up Rs 2 lakh.
Narayan, a supervisor with a construction company in Cuttack, said: “When I reached Chandipur, about 40km from Sonachura, my relatives called me on my cellphone and told me I would not be allowed to perform my father’s last rites until I paid Rs 2 lakh to the local Trinamul leaders. Finally, my relatives took the body to the village for cremation and I had to return to Cuttack.”

Narayan said the local Trinamul leaders have also prevented his brothers from cultivating five bighas that his father left for them. “They allowed cultivation on one bigha after I paid Rs 10,000. But they are still demanding Rs 2 lakh.”
Another Sonachura CPM supporter and a farm labourer, Rabin Mondal, alleged that he was being denied work under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. “I am not being given work under the 100 days’ scheme. No one is giving me a job as a farm labourer as Trinamul leaders have asked villagers not to,” said 30-year-old Rabin.
A CPM supporter in Gokulnagar who works as a clerk in the irrigation department in Mahishadal fled his home a year ago after Trinamul activists demanded Rs 2 lakh from him too.

He now lives near his work place, but his wife and two children are still in Gokulnagar. “My wife and two sons live in my two-storey house in the village. I have 10 bighas to cultivate. So I gave them Rs 1 lakh. They have said they will leave me alone only after I pay the remaining amount,” he said, requesting anonymity.

The Trinamul leadership in Nandigram denied that CPM supporters were facing extortion threats. “Our workers have not extorted money or resorted to any oppression. There is no question of demanding money from CPM supporters,” said Abu Taher, Trinamul leader and chief of Nandigram Panchayat Samiti.

The carbine which was used in killing Nishikanta Mondal, TMC leader of Nandigram and Pradhan of Sonachura Gram Panchayat on 22-09-2009 was the same one which was looted by the Maoists while murdering Rabindranath Kar, his wife and bodyguards on 30-12-2005 at Bandowan in Purulia.

THIS IS LEFT TO YOU TO ARRIVE AT A REASONABLE CONCLUSION.

BULLETS OF MAOISTS TAKE THE LIVES OF POOR TRIBALS IN LALGARH

Lalgarh is a Gram Panchayat within the Binpur block in West Midnapur district. There are nine GPs in the same block. Binpur Assembly constituency is composed of the GPs of Binpur I and II.

The Maoists have been active in the bordering areas of Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapur districts since 2001.

Having tasted blood in Nandigram, several attempts were made by the Trinamool Congress and the Maoists to create similar situations elsewhere in West Bengal. On 2nd November 2008, an attempt was made by the Maoists to assassinate the West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, when he was returning from Shalboni in West Midnapur along with the Union Steel Minister after laying the foundation stone of a steel plant. The landmine exploded by the Maoists missed the Chief Minister’s convoy narrowly. The police launched operations to arrest the culprits and some suspects were arrested. In the process, however, the police indulged in some unjustifiable repressive measures in the Chotopelia village in Lalgarh, especially against some tribal women, one of whose eye was severely damaged. 11women lodged formal complaints about police torture.

This angered the local tribals who launched protests against the police led by the Bharat Jakat Majhi Marwa (BJMM), a body of adivasi community leaders. They demanded treatment and compensation for the injured tribal women, action against the guilty police officials and release of the arrested suspects. On14th November the BJMM leadership reached an agreement with the local authorities. The administration accepted most the demands and provided treatment and compensation for the injured women, released eight of the accused including three school going boys who were arrested and the SP and the Inspector in Charge of Lalgarh police station were transferred.

However, a Committee named Police Santrash Birodhi Janasadharner Committee (PSBJC) was formed under the leadership of Chatradhar Mahato. It was backed by the Maoists. It accused the BJMM leadership of selling out. The PSJBC blockaded the entire Lalgarh area by digging up roads and felling trees, similar to Nandigram, and made the area out of bounds for the police and the administration. They demanded a public apology by the District Superintendent of Police of West Midnapur and other policemen by holding their ears and crawling with their nose to the ground. The administration tried to open dialogue with them but the PSBJC continued with the blockade insisting upon the public apology by the police officials. That the PSBJC was not interested in resolving the issue in a peaceful and democratic manner became clear with the continuing blockade.

It is revealed in The Economist, June 27-July 3 issue under the caption of ‘India’s Naxalite: a rag-tag rebellion’ the name of Chatradhar Mahato and his activities covering some 2000 villages with a joint force of PSBJC and ‘Maoist’ guerrillas.

The local tribal people were not in favour of the undemocratic tactics adopted by the Maoist backed PSBJC. The Bharat Jakat Majhi Marwa organized a rally to protest Maoist violence on 9th December in the Bhulabheda area of Belpahari, where more than 10,000 adivasis had gathered. Sudhir Mandal, the adivasi leader who organized the rally, was shot dead by the Maoists less than 48 hours later. The PSBJC formed a parallel administration and its Maoist allies prevented the entry of the police and administration in the villages of Belpahari, Binpur, Lalgarh, Jamboni, Shalboni and Goaltore.

It is a known fact that since 2001, ‘Maoists’ started to build their contacts in West Midnapur, Bankura, and Purulia districts and in certain areas, waged concerted attacks against the Left forces targeting the CPI(M) as the main enemy. The following is the latest list of persons almost all CPI (M) leaders, members and supporters butchered by Maoists.

Apart from this, they have killed 23 police personnel, 1 doctor, 1 nurse and 4 government employees on duty.

Just before the 15th Lok Sabha elections were announced, the TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee herself went to express her solidarity with the pro-Maoist committee (Peoples Committee against Police Atrocities) formed in the area under the leadership of a former Trinamool Congress leader Chatradhar Mahato. She shared the same platform to address the people in the presence of the leadership of the PCAPA. No other political party was allowed to visit the area, which had been blockaded by the committee. However, while Left party leaders were being targeted and sought to be killed, she along with other TMC leaders could go there without any security!

Today when she disclaims any contact with these groups does it have any credibility? It is also now clear as daylight that the TMC is playing the main role in creating chaos and disorder along with the other right-wing political parties as well as the left extremist political outfits. This fact has been corroborated by one of the topmost leader of the CPI (Maoist), Koteswara Rao (Kishenji), through a TV interview. He confirmed that they helped the TMC to drive out the CPI (M) from Nandigram and adjacent areas. In return, he wanted the TMC leader who was now a Union Minister to come forward and help them to do same in Lalgarh. These details are also brought out in this pamphlet.

It is clear that the blockaded area of Lalgarh was being used by the Maoists to launch murderous attacks, especially targeting CPI (M) activists and supporters. The objective of the blockade was also to shield the Maoists, who were behind the assassination attempt on the Chief Minister. This became clear when Maoist cadre Sasadhar Mahato (Bikash), the prime suspect behind the assassination attempt, appeared before the media within the “liberated zone” of Lalgarh on 16th June with an AK 47 slung on his shoulders. Bikash said on NDTV: “On 2nd November, our plan was to execute Buddhadeb. If people want Buddhadeb hanged, who will hang him? It will be us of the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army.” He was making these statements with the CPI (M) Local Committee Office in Dharampur burning in the backdrop and the corpse of CPI (M) activist Salku Soren, who was killed few days back by the Maoists, lying beside it without cremation for three days. It was in the backdrop of this murderous spree by the Maoists, that the State Government was forced to launch a combined operation of the state police and the central security forces on 18th June 2009. The objective was to combat the Maoists and restore normalcy in the area.

CHIDAMBRAM SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE ALLIANCE BETWEEN MAMATA BANERJEE AND MAOISTS

In a Press Conference in Delhi on 30-09-2009, Shri P. Chidambaram, Hon’ble Home Minister, termed the arrest of Maoist terrorists Kobad Gandhi and Chatradhar Mahato as grand achievements. At the same time he did not forget to criticize the Left Front Government in West Bengal for its shortcomings in tackling the Maoist problem in the state.

But he did not utter even a single word against his colleague Railway Minister and six other Central Ministers who are directly hand in gloves with the Maoists. He also did not say why innocent people are falling prey to the brutalities of Maoists in Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and other states.

Just before the 15th Lok Sabha elections were announced, the TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee herself went to express her solidarity with the pro-Maoist Committee (Peoples Committee against Police Atrocities) formed in Lalgarh under the leadership of Maoist-cum-TMC leader Chatradhar Mahato. She shared the same platform to address the people in the presence of the leadership of the PCAPA and Maoists. No other political party was allowed to visit the area, which had been blockaded by the said Committee. However, while Left party leaders were being targeted and sought to be killed, she along with other TMC leaders could go there without any security!

It is an open secret that these ministers from West Bengal have been using the Maoists for petty political gains. They openly support Maoists, keep close contact with them and hold regular meetings with them. These ministers belonging to TMC not only frequently demand withdrawal of joint operation against Maoists but also some of them even visited Lalgarh recently to embolden Maoists to carry out their destructive activities and mass killing of tribals in the name of so-called ‘revolution’. The function of cabinet is a collective responsibility. The role of the UPA Government is, therefore, nothing but dubious, double standard, antinational, treacherous, dishonest and fraudulent. The objective of destabilizing a duly constitutionally elected State Government and encouraging terrorist outfits is aimed at to achieve some petty political gains at the cost of the nation. The result is the present spate of one after another murder and violence in West Bengal.

The Maoists have again butchered 17 persons at night of 01-10-2009 in Bihar. Is the Government of West Bengal responsible for the same?

The entire nation therefore expects that instead of criticizing others on political considerations and gains, Shri Chidambaram should act in the best interest of the safety and security of the entire country without any jaundiced eye.

MAOIST INTELLECTUALS WITH MAOIST TERRORIST CHATRADHAR MAHATO

FEW WEST BENGAL MEDIA BACKS MAOISTS

A few days back instead of appreciating and encouraging the police personnel, who were able to arrest the dreaded cold blooded Maoist murderer Chatradhar Mahato from Lalgarh risking their own lives, some politically motivated media in West Bengal raised their voice against the ‘so-called’ deceitful manner of his detention. They also tried to make a hue and cry on the plea that their noble profession has been tarnished beyond redemption.

During interrogation Chatradhar Mahato has revealed shockingly that immediately before the start of the join operation in Lalgarh on 17th June, 2009 many Maoist terrorists and Maoist sympathizers represented by students of Jadavpur University and other professions were able to escape the joint forces in the guise of reporters.

It is strange that no media has raised even any least protest against this tarnishing of their noble profession by the Maoists. This attitude on their part triggers the impression to gain ground that except police anyone can use the disguise of their noble profession for any purpose, whatsoever, including that of antinational character and nature.

They believe that as long as it is against the CPI (M) and the mainstream Leftists, it is right, praiseworthy and above criticism.
